Serbia's Forgotten Paws is a registered charity that aims to improve the lives and welfare of the dogs and cats in two shelters that we work with, as well as neutering strays in Serbia.

One shelter is based in Niš and run by Jelena, she has over 350 dogs in her care.  The second shelter is in Mislodjin, this shelter is run by Goran with around 100 dogs.

Formed in 2012 by a small group of unpaid volunteers from across the UK, brought together by the impact of the powerful images and distressing stories found online regarding stray animals and animal shelters in Niš and Belgrade, Serbia.
